I was commissioned to restore this LC Smith 3E 12 bore by Mr. John M. Harris. I Color Case Hardened the Receiver, Lock/Side Plates, Forend Iron, Trigger Plate and Release. I Slow Rust Blued the Barrels and attaching hardware such as the trigger guard and external screws.  I Hot Blued the remaining parts. I refinished the furniture with a hand rubbed oil and I re checkered the forend and stock.

This was the condition that I found this "Elsie" in that Mr. Harris sent me.  

The Firing Pin, L.L.C. only uses (w/Bone and Wood Charcoal), and is an extensive process to under take to obtain beautiful colors. Color Case Hardening can be done on single and double barrel shotgun receivers, and some lever action rifles. Also other parts can be Case Colored as well such as levers, screws, trigger guards etc.

I was commissioned to restore this LC Smith Field 16 bore by Mr. Randy Vanderburg. I Color Case Hardened the Receiver, Lock Plates and the Trigger Plate. I Slow Rust Blued the Barrels and Forend Iron.  I Hot Blued the remaining parts. I refinished the furniture with a hand rubbed oil and I re checkered the forend and stock.  But before I did all that, I repaired two cracks in the forend wood where the rear fore-end screws fit into the wood.  I also repaired a small chip the the stock, on the right side top.

I was commissioned to restore this Parker Double Hammer Lifter 12 bore made in 1879 by Mr. Cyrus S. Bowman. I Color Case Hardened the Receiver, Hammers, Side/Lock Plates, Deeley Release, Forend, Butt Plate and Bottom Metal. I restored the Damascus Barrels to a beautiful black and white finish. I Had the stock and forend duplicated into a Fancy Exhibition Grade Walnut, then I filed, sanded then finished with a Parker Bros. stock oil finish from Galazan, C.S.M. I Had the stock and forend wood checkered in 18psi.

I offer Slow Rust Blue or Brown for Damascus Barrels.

This is my personal rifle. I Color Case Hardened the receiver, blued the metal, made the stock from Walnut and checkered the stock.

This rifle I refinished for a client of mine. I Color Case Hardened the Hammer, Trigger, Lever and Butt plate. Slow Rust Blued the Metal and refinished the Wood.

Mr. Cal Calvert sent this Colt SAA .44 Special to me and I was commissioned to Color Case Hardened the frame. Mr. Chris Horn of Horns Custom Rifles was commissioned to do the other metal work.

I also offer Color Case Hardening on just about any low carbon steel that you can heat up cherry red such as these acorn nuts. They will be installed as cylinder head nuts on a '51 Ford.

I was commissioned to Color Case Hardened this "Elsie", LC Smith F grade  .16 bore. I did not Slow Rust Blue the barrels or refinish the wood, that was done by Mr. Marc Niebergall. These photographs were e-mailed to me by Mr. Niebergall to show me the completed work. Although he has a little more work to do on the furniture, his work is impeccable.

A client called and asked me to take his "shiny" (new) Stainless Steel Ruger Super BlackHawk .44 Mag. and turn it into a "Hunting Pistol" for him and so this is what I did for him. I disassembled the Ruger, then bead blasted it with glass, then carded it off with "Ballistol Oil" then reassembled the Ruger for a fine hunting finish.

I was commissioned by Mr Brett Schwenke to Slow Rust Blue the Receiver, Barrel, Magazine Tube and other metal work, and Color Case Hardened Hammer, Trigger, Trigger Guard, Magazine Loops and other small parts.  The stock and forend was purchased from Mr John Stanley of South Bend, Indiana.  The Winchester is not fully completed yet but Mr. Schwenke has done an outstanding job re-assembling it.
